During university I also voluntarily took on multiple leadership roles. I organized an online creative writing feedback group during lockdown, was elected as Photographer for the university's Rock & Metal Music Society, served as an Academic Representative for my department, and wrote and co-directed a short film with the Filmmaking Society.

Spent a year studying at South Korea's top university, taking courses in both English and Korean. During this time, I also undertook a paid internship for the SNU Diversity Council and wrote for the Arts & Culture section of the student English-language magazine.

Participated in a work experience at an award-winning tech PR consultancy. I wrote press releases, a blog post, and Tweets. I also translated project briefs into promotional videos for social media, assisted with photo shoots, and gained experience editing in Adobe Lightroom.

At this eclectic high-end clothing shop I wrote product descriptions for the website, staged product photo shoots, designed event posters with Canva, assisted customers, and managed inventory. I learned to assess clothing brands and cater marketing material to the target audience.

Served as an intermediary between students and administration by collecting feedback and proposing ideas to improve the student experience.

At this non-profit literary organization I wrote promotional descriptions of offered courses, sourced supplies for classrooms, and improved efficiency of classroom and library spaces. I improved my research skills and ability to work on independent projects.

Achieved a 100% CQSMA (Cleanliness, Quality, Service, Maintenance, Atmosphere) score while being one of two servers on staff, helped intake a record-breaking £20k+ in one weekend, regularly achieved company target for till transaction accuracy.
